Goldberga Studio creates cinematic concept films for fragrance, beauty and luxury brands. But the deepest reason behind my work is simple: I create to love the Creator.
There are moments when beauty feels almost impossible to contain. Sunlight moving through leaves. Music that reaches somewhere words cannot. The stillness of a forest. A moment of genuine connection between two people. The scent of something that suddenly brings an entire memory back to life.
Sometimes, beauty brings tears to my eyes. Not tears of sadness. Tears of awe.
In those moments, I feel close to the Creator. Creating is my way of responding to what I have been given the ability to see, feel and imagine.
The extraordinary within the ordinary
The most meaningful moments are often the ones we almost overlook. The shadow of eyelashes entering our vision. Wind carrying a strand of hair across someone’s face. The sound of bees bringing a beekeeper peace. A grandmother wiping apple jam from a child’s mouth. A familiar fragrance returning someone to a person or place they thought they had forgotten.
Nothing dramatic needs to happen. Sometimes, one truthful detail can hold an entire world.
This is what I search for in every film: the quiet moment that makes an image feel alive.
A product can hold a world
A fragrance is never only a fragrance. It can hold a landscape, a memory, a relationship or an emotion that cannot be explained logically.
Flowers, herbs, wood, fruit, honey and salt all begin in creation. Through scent, they become connected to identity, longing, attraction and memory.
A bottle can be photographed. But the invisible world contained inside it must be felt.
That is where every Goldberga Studio film begins. Before deciding how a film should look, I ask: what is the feeling living inside this product? Then I build the world around it.
Attention as devotion
To pay attention to creation is, for me, a way of loving the Creator. The texture of real skin. A quiet breath. Fabric responding to the wind. Light changing across a room. A hand hesitating before it reaches for another.
These details are not decoration. They are what make an image feel human. They remind us that we are not simply watching something beautiful. We are witnessing a moment of life.
My work is an attempt to notice these moments, honour them truthfully and transform them into an experience another person can feel.
The tools can change, the reason does not
New technology allows me to construct cinematic worlds from an independent studio in Latvia. It allows me to turn ideas, emotions and memories into films that once would have required enormous productions.
But technology is only the instrument. The work begins with observation. With imagination. With meaning. With the desire to express something that cannot be communicated through words alone.
The tools will continue to change. My reason for creating will not.
Films worth feeling
I did not create Goldberga Studio because the world needed more content. I created it because so much advertising looks beautiful but leaves us feeling nothing.
I believe a film can do more than display a product. It can awaken a memory. It can create longing. It can make someone pause. It can remind us of the beauty of nature, human connection and being alive.
Goldberga Studio is my expression of attention, gratitude and awe.
Because what is real deserves to be noticed. What is beautiful deserves to be felt. And creation deserves to be honoured.
